Dog Harness

A dog harness is the best way to be able to comfortably leash your pet. They are generally preferred because unlike a standard collar, a harness does not create unnecessary strain on the neck and windpipe of the animal. Instead of the pressure being focused on the neck, it is instead transferred to the chest and shoulders.

A dog harness is typically made from a woven nylon material. This material tends to be extremely durable, often lasting through decades of use. It is also more comfortable for the dog than other materials.

For smaller dogs, a dog harness can be designed to double as apparel. Sweaters and jackets are the most common version of this type of harness, but other types of apparel can also be found. Some of these harnesses are made from a reflective fabric that allows your pet to be more easily seen at night.
